Taekwondo and Fitness Instructor
Carolyn has been doing Taekwondo for over 20 years. Although an engineer by trade, Carolyn has turned her passion into her work by working with husband Nick to build Titans. A qualified Fitness Instructor, Taekwondo Instructor and Running Coach, Carolyn brings the fun into fitness at the gym.
Luke started taekwondo when he was 5 years old and made the move to Titans at around age 10 years old. He achieved his 1st Dan Black Belt in 2012 and his 2nd Dan in 2017. When asked about his role at Titans, Luke said “I find teaching taekwondo so rewarding, as I am able to see kids grow their confidence and skills. I feel as though I play a small part in their development. I personally love taekwondo as it allows me to stay fit while providing me with a fun yet educational environment.”
Cate is a 2nd Dan black belt, and an assistant instructor at Club Titans. Cate has been training in Taekwondo since 2009. Between 2016-2018 Cate moved overseas to Germany, where she continued to train and gained lots of experience, especially in the art of Poomsae. Taekwondo has been her passion for over 10 years, and Cate really enjoys being able to teach kids who share her passion, and help them to be the best they can be.
Alyse started taekwondo in 2012 and has been participating continually ever since. She enjoys the physical challenges and the mental discipline that taekwondo requires in addition to the team environment fostered by Titans. Alyse’s favourite aspect of teaching is using her knowledge to assist students improve and reach their goals, which is extremely rewarding as a coach.
Anthony originally started at Titans when he was 13, as I was looking for something to keep me fit, during the footy off season, boxing seemed perfect. Anthony found his competitive edge as well as peak fitness through 8 years of training, fighting and socialising. Over this time at Titans Anthony have won himself the Boxing State youth title and National youth title of 2017. Following winning these titles he was selected to go to the Youth Commonwealth Games in the Bahamas. Winning these titles were truly an honour for Anthony. He is now able to put his boxing skills to great use, passing on his knowledge as an Instructor for Titans.
